Our Mission

The Mission of the Jerry McCormick's Comfort Cross Ministry is to provide a sense of peace, comfort, strength and healing in a patient's journey through a blessed comfort cross to patients across the United States. The comfort crosses are made of olive wood in Bethlehem, the birthplace of Jesus Christ. We have the comfort crosses blessed by a Catholic Priest which makes them sacramental, designed to prepare the heart to receive grace and to foster devotion. This is open to all Christians of many faiths. 

Cancer Patients and others with serious medical challenges who receive a comfort cross can learn about Jerry’s battle with pancreatic cancer and how he derived his strength through Jesus Christ. Online resources will also be provided about cancer research and some of the leading cancer treatment centers. This section of our website will also grow over time as we get more information.
